Athletic Ski Stance

“I finally realised nearly all my problems start because I forget about athletic stance or I don’t stay in my athletic stance” BPS student.

One of the most important aspects of your skiing to work on is your athletic stance. Make sure you know what a good athletic stance looks like and what it feels like. Tom has been working on his athletic stance for years and continues to tweak things like how he uses his hamstrings.

Key benefits Athletic stance gives:

  • Greater control of fore and aft balance.

  • Solves knee pain from skiing when you are in the correct stance.

  • Tension through the posterior chain of muscles.

  • Easier ability to edge and balance against the outside ski.
